You Can Help Pets Stay Out of Shelters

Texas still ranks among the top states for animal euthanasia. Every day, financial barriers and pet overpopulation force families to surrender beloved companions and overwhelm local rescues and shelters.

But PETS Clinic exists to change that.

Your donation today supports programs that keep pets in homes and help rescues place more pets into them, including:

• Low-cost veterinary care for the public and our partner rescue groups

• Spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, and vaccines

• PETS Underdog Express – giving second chances to local shelter dogs by transporting them to loving homes in the Northeast

• PETS Pantry – feeding over 500 pets each month to relieve financial pressure on families

• Emergency and urgent care for those with nowhere else to turn

• Medical support for rescue dogs and cats, so they’re healthy and adoption-ready

Affordable Vet Care Isn’t a Luxury, It’s a Lifesaver

That’s why PETS Clinic is part of the national Access to Care movement, focused on breaking down the financial barriers that prevent millions of pets from getting the care they need.

Even households earning $50,000 a year often struggle to afford veterinary expenses. When help isn’t available, pets go without or end up in shelters.

Who We Are and What We’ve Built Together

Founded in 2007, PETS Clinic has grown into a regional leader in nonprofit veterinary care. And this year, we reached a major milestone:

Over 100,000 spay/neuter surgeries performed.

It’s a milestone made possible by our community and the donors who believe in what we do.

Together we have:

• Reduced shelter intake in Wichita Falls from over 10,000 to 1,625

• Dropped euthanasia rates from over 90% to 34%

• Launched PETS Pantry, helping families feed their pets and stay together

• Built PETS Underdog Express, giving hundreds of shelter dogs new lives every year

• Supported rescues and shelters with medical services that save lives and speed up adoptions

We’ve never received state or federal funding. Every success has been driven by donors like you.
