When the closure of Notre Dame Catholic School was announced in March 2021, an amazing thing occurred. A group of passionate and concerned individuals got together to try to reverse this decision and save our beloved NDCS. With that as the starting point it became clear that what the school needed was a separate organization that could help endorse its growth and raise funds where the diocese was unable. We officially applied to make Friends of ND a 501c3 in April of 2021.
While Notre Dame Catholic School is no longer physically with us, the spirit of NDCS exists proudly in our community and the need to support Catholic education in the Wichita Falls Area still remains.
Friends of ND is excited about the opportunity to grow and host events in the future that allow us to: provide financial support for the needs of, ensure the future of, and preserve the legacy of Catholic education in the Wichita Falls community.

Who We Are
Guided by our Catholic values, Friends of ND is a non-profit organization supporting Wichita Falls area Catholic education, advocating for growth and enhancement of preschool through high school programs. While remaining flexible in our approach, we give priority to: providing financial support for the needs of, ensuring the future of, and preserving the legacy of Catholic education in the Wichita Falls community.
Currently, Friends of Notre Dame supports the growth of Holy Family Classical Academy by providing for the needs of tuition assistance, technology, and academic materials.
