Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wichita County is making a measurable difference in the lives of local youth. In 2024 alone, BBBS served 154 children—most from low-income, single-parent households—and helped them build resilience through one-to-one mentoring relationships. More than 85% of students in the program showed improvements in emotional regulation, educational expectations, and academic performance. 

Afterschool programs at Fain, Southern Hills, Scotland Park, and Kate Burgess Elementary Schools provide safe, structured environments where mentors and mentees connect, build trust, and inspire growth.
