River Bend Nature Center



For 30 years, River Bend Nature Center has been a community built by people like you, a place where wonder, exploration, and connection flourish. More than 44,000 children and adults experienced the beauty and discovery of the natural world through River Bend last year. Families explored quiet forest trails, children delighted in spotting butterflies, and visitors of all ages found joy in connecting with nature.

This year is especially meaningful: River Bend Nature Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and 2025 marks the final Texoma Gives Day. After nearly a decade, the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation has chosen to conclude this community-wide day of giving, leaving behind a legacy of generosity while making space for new ways to strengthen our community. River Bend has proudly participated every year, and now we have one last opportunity to make Texoma Gives Day the best yet.
