Founded in Young County, Texas, the Young County Christian Education Foundation is dedicated to expanding access to Christ-centered education and providing physical spaces for faith-based learning and activities across North Texas. We empower Christian schools, homeschool programs, support educational initiatives, and foster growth and community through faith-driven opportunities. Our goal is to equip students, families, and educators with the resources and environments needed to thrive spiritually and academically.
Planting Seeds of Opportunity: Growing Christian Education in North Texas
At the heart of the Young County Christian Education Foundation is a simple, unwavering mission: to glorify God by growing opportunities for Christian education in our community. We believe that learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom...it happens in homes, on playgrounds, through meaningful relationships, and in spaces where faith and curiosity intersect.
With your support, we are planting seeds that will bless this generation and the next.
What We’re Working Toward
There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to education, and that’s a good thing. God made each child unique...and our goal is to offer support, enrichment, and community for every kind of learner.
Here are just a few of the opportunities we’re eager to fund through grants and generous donations:
Playground Improvements: Outdoor play is more than just recess—it’s fellowship, it’s growth, it’s learning how to get back up when you fall (literally and figuratively). We’re seeking support to upgrade our school playgrounds to make them safer, more engaging, and inclusive for children of all ages.
Support for Homeschool Families: Homeschooling offers a beautiful way for families to nurture faith and education side by side. We want to offer shared resources, curriculum support, and collaborative learning opportunities to lighten the load and build community. One of our greatest goals is to provide a physical location where homeschool co-ops can meet regularly for fellowship, group projects, enrichment classes, and shared worship...creating a space where families can connect, grow, and thrive together in Christ.
Enrichment Classes & Workshops: Whether it’s art, music, STEM, cooking, agriculture, or Bible study—there’s no limit to what we can offer when passionate people and eager learners come together. These classes equip kids with life skills, creative outlets, and a deepened understanding of God’s purpose for their gifts.
Community Clubs & Groups: We envision a network of after-school clubs, service projects, sports leagues, and student-led initiatives that bring kids together in Christ-centered fellowship while exploring their interests and talents.
Why It Matters
Because every opportunity we offer...whether it’s a new swing set or a STEM club...is a chance to remind kids that they are loved, seen, and made with purpose. Every dollar invested is more than a donation; it’s a step toward a future where Christian education continues to thrive in Young County.
And ultimately, everything we do points back to Him.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” – Colossians 3:17
How You Can Be Part of It
If your heart is stirred by this vision, we invite you to partner with us through prayer, financial giving, or your time and talents. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, business owner, or simply someone who wants to see faith-based education flourish...there’s a place for you here.
Let’s build something beautiful, together...for His glory and their future.
