Cattle Drive is a new, signature initiative of the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, built on the spirit of Texas and the strength of community. This program unites ranchers and residents across our 12-county service area to provide one of the most requested — yet least donated — food items: beef.
Local ranchers and livestock owners donate cattle, while community members cover the meat processing fees. Together, they help us put high-quality protein on the plates of neighbors experiencing hunger.
Each head of cattle donated and every dollar raised is a show of true Texan heart — generous, neighborly, and community-focused. The Cattle Drive isn’t just a food sourcing program; it’s a celebration of our heritage and a bold commitment to nourishing lives, the Texan way.
