WHO WE ARE

We are an all volunteer nonprofit organization that is seeks to engage the local community with the arts and the natural environment.

We support the arts, artists, and the natural environment. To achieve this, we offer artists opportunities to exhibit their art and we offer opportunities for all those interested to learn more about the arts and the environment. Jim Bob Art Park & Nature Trails is a very rural sculpture garden with hiking trails, and the new Sydney Thiele Kuehler Wildflower Garden. The Park is located in the "breaks" region of Knox County on the outskirts of Benjamin, Texas. 

WHAT WE DO

Every spring we have an Earth Day Celebration with activities for all - art making, trail hikes, artist talks, information about sustainability practices, and a hot dog cook out. In November, we have our Big Country Arts Celebration. Activities include art making, dance performances, artist talks, star gazing, and more! 

This year we are working on:

• New pollinator garden - the Sydney Thiele Kuehler Wildflower Garden is in the beginning stages. 
• Bringing visual artists to the Park to make artwork that relates to the unique desert environment of the Park and the Big Country region in the Knox County area.
