Friends of the Jacksboro Animal Shelter

          The Friends of the Jacksboro Animal Shelter is a small group of people with a huge goal. 

In March of 2022, Jacksboro was hit by a tornado and the animal shelter was destroyed. We have worked hard, and through generous donations, the Friends of the Animal Shelter has been able to donate over  $200,000 to the city to build a new facility to house both dogs and cats.

The goal is to continue to raise funds to support the animal shelter as well as to extend our reach into the community with a  P.E.T.S. van to aid in low-cost neutering/spaying and vaccinations, adoptions and other events throughout the county and assisting local animals-in-need on a case-by-case basis.
