Dexter Foundation

The Dexter Foundation is a non-profit 501 c(3) that was established with the goal of future aid towards the betterment of the school and its students. Funds from the Foundation will be used to create future scholarship opportunities, and the support of capital improvements that will better aid the learning environment!

The mission of Dexter is to hyper-focus on acquiring and building basic, universal, core knowledge within our students. Through a rigorous curriculum, we will equip students with problem-solving skills that will enable them to become tomorrow’s leading citizens: engineers, scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs. We endeavor to provide students with a challenging, digital learning environment, to inspire joy at the prospect of discovery, and to foster a culture of innovation based on ethical behavior and the shared interests of humanity.

Here at Dexter, we believe that education is a great equalizing force and the key to a healthy society. It is our endeavor to provide a transformative education to students that will empower them to actively participate in society at large. We seek to exemplify and promote a project and inquiry-based approach to learning, as well as constructivist learning and teaching principles. Dexter is founded on a belief in American exceptionalism and adheres to the concepts, principles, and beliefs enshrined in its founding documents and ideals.
