Camp Chaparral

In June, a sudden and massive storm ripped through our campgrounds, causing immense damage on our property. An entire storage building blew away, tree limbs were scattered everywhere, and a power pole fell to the ground. However, our biggest loss was our lake inflatables. Even though they were anchored with cement blocks, two of our inflatables blew out of the water and suffered extensive rips that are beyond repair. 

The lake inflatables are a favorite activity amongst our campers, as they spend hours climbing on them each afternoon. This summer, many campers have been saddened by their absence.

We would like to continue to elevate our campers’ experience by replacing our damaged lake inflatables. However, in order to meet this goal, we need your help!

Who We Are

Camp Chaparral is a Baptist Camp and Conference Center who exists to wholeheartedly serve our guests and promote spiritual growth, healthy relationships, and wholesome recreation. 

Established in 1971 with the purpose of providing summer camps for youth and children, Chaparral has grown and expanded its ministry and services to a wide range of ages and organizations. From hosting banquets and retreats to programming youth and kids camps, we are equipped to host just about any type of event with spacious facilities, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, and outstanding food service options provided by a friendly, well-trained staff.
